About Truescale
Reality, Built.
Truescale Studios is an independent game studio building complete experiences on Roblox and Unity. Our work spans the whole thing behind a game — not just the code, but the branding, the community infrastructure, and the team architecture that lets a small studio ship like a serious one.
We started from a simple frustration: too many projects launch as fragments — a promising core wrapped in placeholder art, broken menus, and "coming soon" everywhere you look. We build the opposite way. We scope for something we can actually finish, then finish it. That discipline is the whole identity of the studio, and it's the reason this site exists as an open, honest record of what's done and what isn't.
Everything we make is meant to stand on its own. A player should never be able to tell where the "real" game ends and the temporary scaffolding begins, because there is no scaffolding left in.
No placeholders
"No placeholders" is a production philosophy, not a slogan. We ship complete, quality work rather than stand-ins, stubs, or temporary art left in to be fixed later. If it goes out, it's finished — and that standard shapes how we scope, staff, and schedule every project.
Practically, it means we say no more than we say yes. We cut features before we cut quality. A smaller game that's whole beats a bigger one that's held together with tape, and we'd rather delay than release something we'd have to apologize for.
What we believe
Complete over fast
Speed is easy to fake and hard to sustain. We optimize for finished, not first — the version players remember is the one that was actually done.
Quality over quantity
One title that's fully realized does more for a studio than five that are perpetually "almost there." We'd rather go deep than wide.
Community-built
The people around a game are part of the game. We invest in the server, the moderation, and the culture as seriously as the product itself.
Structure enables craft
Clear roles and tiers aren't bureaucracy — they're what let talented people focus on their craft instead of guessing at their lane.
What we build
We develop on two platforms, each chosen for what it does best.
Roblox
Social-first, multiplayer worlds designed to be played with other people. We treat Roblox titles as finished products, not endless betas — polished, complete, and built to hold an audience.
Unity
Deeper standalone titles where we own the whole experience end to end — systems, art, sound, and the final polish that makes it feel real.
How the studio is structured
Truescale is organized into clear disciplines — development, modeling, art, sound, quality, moderation, support, and social media — each led by a senior lead and backed by a management and directorship layer. A shared Staff role ties the team together for permissions and coordination, so structure stays simple even as the studio grows.
Within each discipline, people move through a consistent set of tiers. Everyone knows what the next step looks like and what it takes to get there.
Trial
A proving period. New members take on real work with guidance while both sides confirm it's a fit.
Junior
An established contributor building depth in their craft and taking ownership of pieces of a project.
Senior
A trusted expert who sets the bar for quality in their discipline and mentors those coming up.
Lead
Owns a discipline end to end — direction, standards, and the people delivering the work.

Where we're headed
The studio is in active buildout: brand and identity, the team structure, the Discord server, a custom bot, this member site, and the first title in production. You can follow all of it on the roadmap, which tracks both the studio-wide release path and each individual system as it comes together.

We're hiring
Truescale is growing, and we bring people on across every discipline. We care more about craft, reliability, and a genuine commitment to finishing work than about a long résumé — most roles start at the Trial tier so both sides can confirm the fit on real work before anything is permanent. If you take pride in shipping things that are actually complete, you'll fit in here.
Disciplines we hire for:
Development
Gameplay and systems engineers building on Roblox and Unity to a finished, polished standard.
Modeling
3D modelers producing complete, game-ready assets — no stand-ins, no rough drafts left in.
Art
Art designers shaping the visual identity of our worlds, from concept to final in-game look.
Quality
Playtesters and QA who catch what shouldn't ship — and hold the line on the finished standard.
Sound
Sound designers giving each title the audio depth that makes a game feel real.
Community & Support
Moderators, support, and social media keeping the community healthy, welcoming, and well-run.
Leadership
Directors, managers, and discipline leads who set direction and standards and own the people delivering the work. Filled selectively, usually from proven senior talent.
How to apply:
Team and staff applications are submitted through the studio's staff website, where each one is reviewed by hand — we read every application ourselves rather than filtering by keyword. Successful applicants are onboarded into their discipline at the appropriate tier and given real work from day one. The application portal opens alongside the community Discord; until then, this is the place to watch for it.
