Truescale Studios is a game and app development studio. We build games, applications, and the smaller tools that come out of our own work.
Launch
The site, the Discord and staff applications, all at once.
What we're building
In development
Built in Unity, released on Steam. Horror, simulation, sandbox and more. We'll announce titles when there's something real to show.
In development
Software we build because we needed it, released when it's useful to someone else.
In development
The small things that come out of our own work — bots, utilities, the stuff that never gets its own launch.
The studio
Most studios specialise, and there's a good reason for it. Depth in one genre compounds — the tools, the instincts and the audience all carry forward. We're building broadly anyway, because the usual conclusion drawn from that tradeoff is wrong. A studio doesn't become thin from working across categories. It becomes thin when it lowers its standard to cover the ground.
So the standard is what we hold fixed, and the range is what moves. Every project is held to the same bar regardless of how small it is or how few people will use it. A Discord bot and a co-op simulator have almost nothing in common, and both of them carry our name.
That's where the name comes from. Scale is the breadth of what we build. True is whether each piece of it holds up on its own terms. It comes down to one rule: we don't release anything we wouldn't be willing to have judged as our only work.
What we believe
Every asset is made by a person. If we can't afford to have something made properly, we ship without it or we wait. We don't fill the gap with output nobody authored.
No loot boxes, no engagement traps, no subscription that takes a phone call to cancel. This applies to the applications exactly as much as the games, and it isn't negotiable for a deadline.
Real screenshots, honest release windows, no invented scarcity. When a date slips we say so and say why — it's cheaper than the alternative and easier to live with.
The studio is run by a Christian, and that shapes how it operates more than what it makes. It's the reason the commitments above are written down rather than assumed: a standard kept only when someone is watching isn't a standard, and a public one is easier to be held to. Some of what we build will be explicitly Christian. Most of it won't be, and that's deliberate.
Working here
We're a small team and we credit everyone by name, including contractors and consultants. Four roles are open now. All four shape how Truescale looks and sounds in public before there's a single product out, which makes them some of the few jobs here where the work is visible from week one.
All four are fully remote and it doesn't matter where you are. The work happens over Discord and email, on your own hours — we care what you turn in, not when you were online.
We can't pay for these yet. That changes as the studio starts earning, and these roles are near the front of the line when it does — but we'd rather say that plainly up front than let you find it out later.
Runs TikTok, Instagram and Facebook — what goes out, when it goes out, and how the studio sounds in public.
Comes up with what we post and makes it. Short-form video, on camera or behind it, ideas through to finished clips.
Graphics for the feed — post art, announcement cards, thumbnails, and whatever else a post needs to stop a scroll.
Cuts the footage. Pacing, sound and captions — turning raw clips into something worth watching twice.
Development, art, audio and writing roles open with the site.
